…because just like Ron, no one can be defined on a static piece of stone.

The inspiration for Eternal Life Memorials is Ron Cole, who left us way too soon at the age of 45. A headstone just didn’t seem like enough room to convey all of the wonderful things about Ron. Ron’s family came up with the idea to add a QR code to the headstone, and his wife Taline obtained the QR code then worked closely with the engraver to make sure it worked like it was supposed to (it was manually engraved onto the headstone). The experience inspired Taline to make this complicated process easier for others.

QR Code Headstone Keeps Memory Alive

“I wanted something that expanded beyond the headstone so that people could know more about him.
… He’s so much more than a headstone.”

– Taline Cole –

“It [is] pretty neat. It’s another step in families being able to personalize their loved ones’ graves and memorialize their family members.”

– Bud Bales, El Toro Memorial Cemetary Manager
